Performance at Green Theatre

Fourteen dancers, a four-day laboratory, one shared field of attention.

Created with 14 dancers through an intensive four-day laboratory, this performance brings together movement, shared attention, personal experience and Kolya Bagdasaryan’s original music. It reflects his practice of shaping collective work through trust, sensitivity and presence.

From the outset, the laboratory had no predetermined outcome. Kolya’s focus was to encounter and understand each participant, support their individual creative potential, and deepen both personal and collective sensory awareness.

Across four days, the group grew closer, built trust and became more open to one another and to themselves.

On the final day, the ensemble entered several hours of focused collective improvisation. They remained in that shared state until the final moments before stepping onto the Green Theatre stage in front of an audience of around one thousand, where the performance unfolded to Kolya Bagdasaryan’s original composition.
